DL-phenylalanine is an essential amino acid which can be converted to L-tyrosine by a complex biochemical process which takes place in the liver. DL-phenylalanine is a 50/50 mixture of the two.

Indications
Used to help relieve chronic pain and its associated depression. May help to increase mental alertness. Use for minimum of 2 weeks to see beneficial effects for depression but not more than 3 weeks at a time.
Suggested dose for adults
Take 1-2 capsules 2 times per day.
Cautions
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if taking any anti-depressants or high-blood-pressure drugs. Do not take if you have any form of cancer. Do not take if you have PKU (phenylketonuria). Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
